From young childhood I have always dreamed of becoming a physician, which was solidified during a high school semester at Bethesda Naval Hospital. I have also worked as an Orderly in the Radiology department at a local hospital and these experiences cemented my aspirations.

As an Anesthesiologist I am taking care of patients of all ages and medical histories, which makes every day challenging and exciting.   As a Medical director, I am tasked to use my clinical judgment to oversee the running of the surgery center to provide quality, safe, efficient and cost effective care to all patients. Because of my daily presence at the center patients will receive continuity of care that is important for quality care.

I came to the Hampton Roads area and have been a practicing Anesthesiologist since 1996.  I also have 17 years of experience as a Medical Director and I am extremely excited to be a part of Surgical Suites of Coastal Virginia.   I have top notch people around me providing excellent patient care which has resulted in the highest levels of patient satisfaction.

I'm proud to be married for 33 years; a father of four and grandfather of six.  I enjoy any activity with family and love being outdoors.
